The Yamaha TZR250 (1KT) is a two-stroke racer replica released in November 1985. Developed in parallel with the production racer TZ250, it has an aluminium Delta box frame.
Equipped with a parallel 2-cylinder engine that uses a crankcase reed valve, It was the forerunner of racer replicas that were as close to the real thing as possible.The popularity of the early 1KT, which had both performance comparable to that of a commercial racer and ease of riding,It set the trend for racer replicas in motion.
The kit is based on thorough research into the actual vehicle, and can even be recreated with the cowl removed. The inside of the headlights and the mirror are plated parts.
