The Kawasaki KR250 was Kawasaki’s first two-stroke racer replica, released in 1984.
It inherits its mechanism and name from the KR250, the WGP racer that was invincible from the late 1970s to the early 1980s. A water-cooled, two-stroke tandem twin engine with two cylinders arranged front to back.
The intake system is called RRIS (Rotary & Reed Valve Intake System). Boasting high performance thanks to its unique technology, and distinctive styling it still has many fans all over the world.
The kit is reproduced using completely new moulds based on thorough research of the actual vehicle.
It can also be recreated with the cowl removed. By selecting the parts, it is possible to recreate the single seat version.
Parts overview:
- The part colours are green for the cowl and tank, medium grey for the engine and frame
- The exhaust pipe, seat, etc. are black
- Screen is clear.
- The headlight mirror and mirror are plated parts.
