Pillage Miniatures Skirmish Rulebook
Cinematic Viking-Age Wargaming (793–1066)
Whether you’re storming enemy villages in search of loot or defending your home from fire and steel, Pillage blends fast-paced mechanics with rich, cinematic moments. Climb towers, dive into rivers, rescue civilians, or set the world ablaze—no two games are ever the same. With its emphasis on storytelling, terrain, and objective-based play, Pillage turns your miniatures into heroes, cowards, and legends in a saga of your own making.
This flexible system offers both accessibility and depth, designed to recreate the iconic conflicts of the period—raids, plunder, and the defence of sacred relics. Burn villages, capture loot or future slaves, adapt your tactics to changing weather, embark aboard your Longship, or fend off northern invaders as they descend upon your homeland.
The rulebook focuses on the era spanning from the infamous 793 raid on Lindisfarne to the climactic Battle of Hastings in 1066, though its core mechanics can be easily adapted for conflicts from Antiquity through to the end of the Middle Ages. It is a time of upheaval and conquest—a world where kingdoms are forged at the tip of a spear, raiders strike without warning, and glory means earning a place of honour alongside your chosen god.
